Motorola RAZR Blade – world’s first Intel Medfield processor-based smartphone?

Motorola RAZR Blade

Anyone who follows tech seriously knows that Intel has been working on a mobile processor, optimized for Ice Cream Sandwich. Motorola is one of the first OEM’s to market a handset with Intel’s x86-based Medfield SoC. A leaked photo from PhoneHK would have many to believe such a device exists. It also does not carry over the four capacitive touch buttons found on the original Motorola Droid RAZR so that is another telling sign that this is destined for Android 4.0.

There are other attributes that separates itself from the RAZR, with curves along the edges. Based on the photos, the RAZR Blade doesn’t appear to be as “RAZR” thin as its 7.7mm older sibling.

The current rumors coming out of the mill is that Motorola is keen on calling this the RAZR Blade, which if you ask us, makes perfect sense. However we aren’t sure as to when this smartphone will be released but when it does, you will be the first to know. Also expect Rogers to hop on board with this as they already have the Motorola RAZR, which was released late last year.
