TELUS Galaxy S III to receive Jelly Bean “Late November”

Samsung previously stated that Canadians can expect to see an upgrade to Jelly Bean for various Galaxy devices before the holidays. Samsung to end production of LCD panels for Apple – low margins and relatsionship strains

It is safe to say that the relationship between Samsung and Apple has been on the decline over the past year. It has been very public that both companies have their hired guns at court battling out patent infringement cases that seems to never end. Samsung has told The Korean Times they will end LCD panel production by the end of next year due to low margins over the high-density new iPad’s.

Samsung Canada to launch Galaxy Note II Gangnam Style

By now you must have seen or heard about Gangnam Style, a song and video that went viral. Samsung has reached out to the artist of the song, PSY, to perform his first live performance at the Kool Haus in Toronto, on October 30th. Samsung is throwing a Galaxy Note II launch party in NYC

Samsung has already announced that it’s second generation Galaxy Note II smartphone/phablet device will be coming to Canada and in the United States sometime in November to most carriers. However, that did not stop the Korean electronics giant from throwing a launch party in New York City that will take place on October 24th to make it official. At this point there not yet information.

Samsung rolls out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update today

Samsung has started to push out the upgrade to Android OS 4.1 Jelly Bean today. Unfortunately it will not be coming to Canada officially until sometime in November. Despite the delay of North American carrier locked Galaxy devices receiving Jelly Bean goodness, Samsung has confirmed the following devices that will be receiving the upgrade: GS III will be the GALAXY Tab 2 7.0 & 10.1,.

Samsung Canada announced today that the highly anticipated Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet is now available in Canada. The device is available for purchased at authorized retailers across Canada such as big box retailers, Future Shop, Best Buy, and Staples for $499.
