WIND puts Galaxy Nexus as “coming soon”

WIND Mobile is next in line to bring the Samsung-built Galaxy Nexus to its customers as it lists the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich device on their site as “coming soon”. As for price points it has yet to be determined. Most believe it will come with a price tag of $649 outright but WIND has come forth and said the price is incorrect and that they have not confirmed or released.

TELUS launching Galaxy Nexus on January 14, 2012

TELUS has given us the official word on the Samsung-built Galaxy Nexus. It is “Coming to TELUS on January 14th, the Android 4.0 powered Galaxy Nexus!”. As for price points we’re not sure yet but we’re sure the carriers pricing will be similar to that of Bell and Virgin’s at $159 on a 3-year agreement and $649.99 outright.

Rogers and Fido launching Galaxy Nexus on January 10, 2012

Bell and Virgin came out weeks ago with the exclusive release of the Samsung-built Galaxy Nexus, the world’s first device to launch with Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Both Rogers and TELUS announced that they would be releasing the highly anticipated device in January. Good news has come out — the Galaxy Nexus will be making its way to both Rogers and Fido on.

Samsung to target 374 million units for 2012

Samsung announced a couple weeks ago that they exceeded sales of 300 million handsets in 2011, zooming past the 2010 record of 280 million handsets. Q4 2011 has been a busy period with Christmas just past and boxing week still taking place so sales could surge to 325 million — with strong Galaxy S II, Galaxy Note, and Galaxy Nexus sales. President and head of Samsung’s Mobile.

Verizon Wireless stores are sold out of Galaxy Nexus — availability at Best Buy

Within hours after Verizon officially launched the Samsung-built Galaxy Nexus, we received word from our American correspondent, that the highly anticipated Galaxy Nexus was sold out. After digging through some of our contacts, we contacted a Best Buy manager regarding its availability and we can confirm that the big box retailer Best Buy still has stock available. Our contact also confirmed.
