Blackberry App World now has over 70,000 applications available

There is no doubt that Blackberry’s struggles over the past few years have been contributed by the lack of apps and an uninspiring operating system overall. Pressure intensifies on RIM’s co-CEOs Jim Balsillie and Mike Lazaridis

We’re definitely happy that 2011 is coming to an end — not because we had a horrible year. In fact, Mobile Hotspot had a great half-year. Sadly we can’t say the same for Canada’s own Research In Motion. The company has been hit with a consistently sloping market share as well as a massive $30 billion loss in value — now worth just over $7 billion. At the time.
