Samsung Canada to launch Galaxy S III in the “summer of 2012″

Samsung Canada has come forth and said that their Galaxy S III will be launching in Canada in the “summer of 2012″. As for a specific date as to when we will see this phone hit Canadian soil remains to be seen. The 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display boasting Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich equipped device is one of the most anticipated devices for 2012 and is likely to sell just.

Samsung Galaxy S III to have major improvements – Non-Pentile Super AMOLED HD Display

As we get farther into this year, many are wondering where on earth is Samsung’s much anticipated Samsung Galaxy S III (the successor to a hugely successful Galaxy S II). It’s expected the Galaxy S III is a huge improvement over its predecessor in virtually every single way, we expect the world’s first non-Pentile Super AMOLED HD display to be fitted with the next superphone.

Super-thin Samsung Galaxy S III rendering surfaced online

Rumors have made its rounds across all internet tech blog and media outlets. There is no doubt the Samsung Galaxy S III is in the pipeline but as far as specs and when it will actually come out is still unknown at this point. An image surfaced last night on Reddit and undoubtedly one of the best renderings we’ve seen so far. However there are some design inconsistencies that led us.

WIND puts Galaxy Nexus as “coming soon”

WIND Mobile is next in line to bring the Samsung-built Galaxy Nexus to its customers as it lists the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich device on their site as “coming soon”. As for price points it has yet to be determined. Most believe it will come with a price tag of $649 outright but WIND has come forth and said the price is incorrect and that they have not confirmed or released.

Analyst says RIM is likely going to license Blackberry 10 to Samsung, HTC and possibly others

As we have reported late last year, BASIS International slapped RIM with a trademark infringement lawsuit that ultimately led RIM to renaming the operating system to Blackberry 10. Despite RIM’s less than stellar year on the stock market and the failure to successfully launch the Blackberry PlayBook, RIM’s co-CEO, Jim Balsillie, still believes the new devices coming this year.

TELUS launching Galaxy Nexus on January 14, 2012

TELUS has given us the official word on the Samsung-built Galaxy Nexus. It is “Coming to TELUS on January 14th, the Android 4.0 powered Galaxy Nexus!”. As for price points we’re not sure yet but we’re sure the carriers pricing will be similar to that of Bell and Virgin’s at $159 on a 3-year agreement and $649.99 outright.

Rogers and Fido launching Galaxy Nexus on January 10, 2012

Bell and Virgin came out weeks ago with the exclusive release of the Samsung-built Galaxy Nexus, the world’s first device to launch with Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Both Rogers and TELUS announced that they would be releasing the highly anticipated device in January. Good news has come out — the Galaxy Nexus will be making its way to both Rogers and Fido on.

Samsung Galaxy Note sold more than 1 million units worldwide

The Samsung Galaxy Note, which was unveiled at the IFA in Berlin on September 1st, has positioned itself quite nicely — in between a large smartphone and a small tablet. The Note has a massive 5.3-inch display and an “S-Pen” stylus. Now that the device has had several months to mature, Samsung has announced that they have shipped more than one million units of the Galaxy.
